Dano Grooms

Founder, Lead Investigator
For over 17 years, Dano has dedicated his life to exploring the mysteries that dwell in the shadows, blending experience, technology, and empathy to uncover the truth behind unexplained phenomena. His mission is simple yet profound: explain the unexplainable and help people find understanding -or peace- with the experiences they face.
Armed with a wide range of investigative tools, including K2 meters, voice boxes, laser grids, stationary sensors, voice recorders, and cameras, Dano brings both precision and professionalism to every investigation. He also recognizes that some of the most important tools aren’t found in a case, but in the people themselves, their stories, perspectives, and lived experiences.
Over nearly two decades of work, Dano has investigated haunted homes, historic locations, and countless spaces where the veil between worlds feels thin. Each case is approached with respect for both the living and the spirits believed to remain, with the goal of not only documenting activity but also providing comfort and clarity.
To Dano, paranormal investigation is more than chasing shadows, it’s about shining light into the unknown, bridging the gap between worlds, and giving voice to what lingers in silence.

I'm a retired Navy medic and lifelong medium. I've spent the past five years formally practicing my abilities, though my intuitive, empathic, and mediumship gifts have always been a part of me. For the past decade, I've been deeply involved in paranormal investigating, and the past four years working alongside a dedicated team have truly expanded my knowledge and expertise. I specialize in conducting walkthroughs of homes and businesses with no prior information, using my abilities to uncover and validate historic details and hidden energies. With extensive knowledge in the occult, herbal practices, and mediumship, I'm like a bloodhound for the spirit world - navigating multiple dimensions to bring peace and clarity to our clients.

Lead Investigator
Darryl Barton, also known as "Chief", is a retired police chief from the City of West, where he served until 2022, culminating in a 37-year career in law enforcement that began in 1985. He currently serves as a Courthouse Deputy in Hill County, Texas.
Darryl commenced his law enforcement career at McLennan Community College (MCC) and now holds a Master Peace Officer Certification, along with numerous other accomplishments in the profession.
A lifelong member of the West Brethren Church, Darryl credits his Christian faith with keeping him grounded in paranormal investigations, emphasizing the importance of a skeptical, common-sense approach. Not everything is paranormal, and equally, not everything can be explained.
With longstanding interest in the paranormal, Darryl joined "McLennan County Paranormal Investigations" in 2011. This was after they conducted an investigation at a cafe he co-owned. He credits the founders and members of that team for bringing him in and helping him hone his skills in the field of paranormal investigations.
He is excited to be part of returning members, the "OG's", reuniting under the new Yellow Rose Paranormal Society. This new team has combined years of experience in the field that are 2nd to none.

My name is Joey Bodnar. I have been interested in the paranormal for a long time. I was working at a 100 year old local theater, and began noticing some activity. I got in touch with a local team, and got them to come out and do an investigation. I helped out during that investigation and was asked to join the team. That was 2016, and I have been actively investigating ever since. That is 9 years of experience, and I have a passion for it, and will do "whatever" it takes to seek the truth and help our clients. In my spare time, I collect sports cards and autographs. I mainly collect football, but also enjoy baseball and basketball!!

I’ve been fascinated by the paranormal since childhood after experiencing a full-body apparition at the age of eight. Over the years, I’ve encountered physical touches, unexplained emotions, and phenomena tied to certain places and objects. These encounters fuel my commitment to seeking the truth with both empathy and critical thinking. Since 2014, I’ve been an active investigator, approaching every case with a calm presence, compassion, and a focus on ruling out the explainable before exploring the unknown.
With over 30 years as a small business owner and experience as a certified master health coach, I bring professionalism, care, and attention to detail to each investigation. My goal is to provide trustworthy guidance that helps clients feel informed, reassured, and in control. Outside investigations, I enjoy triathlons, running, bird watching, nature photography and other outdoor activities.

At the age of 5 I accepted Jesus Christ as my Lord and Savior. God called me to be a minister at age 17, but I actually didn’t fully surrender until about 1997. At that time my family and I moved to Carson City, Nevada where we were church strengtheners. I resigned that position and started working with homeless persons living along the Carson River nearby. In 2000, my family and I moved to Buhl, Idaho following a revival held in Twin Falls. I felt God calling me to set up a church which was done. During this time I prayed for people and either helped with exorcisms or performed them with God’s power myself. I have prayed for many people especially from a stand of spiritual help and protection. During this time I also acquired a Diploma in Pastoral Ministries from the Southern Baptist Seminaries. I acquired a degree in Community and Agency Counseling from Northwestern Nazarene University in Nampa, Idaho. I worked bivocationally in Idaho as a minister and an LPC. I moved back to Robinson in 2011 to help take care of my family’s affairs and business. I have been involved in several churches and ministries while here. I am a teacher as well. I do have a degree from Baylor University with double majors in Journalism and Anthropology and a minor in English. I was a journalist for 15 years and worked as a reporter for the Kilgore, Texas New Herald followed by six months at the Denton Record Chronicle as a reporter. Then the Corrigan, Texas Times as Editor for two years, two years at the Mexia Daily News, four years as Editor of the Monahan’s, Texas News, and a year at the Brazorian News in Lake Jackson, Texas. It was at this time I surrendered to God. I also have taken lots of 35mm photos and done lots of historical research. Serving as Pastor for Yellow Rose Paranormal would be a privilege and honor given by God to me as I have been praying for a family oriented group.b
